Community Feeding
Under bus stands, outside hospitals and on pavement corners — we serve people who have no kitchen to return to.
Hot meals are bought and packed at our centre and taken out to the streets around Tambaram every Sunday, where homeless men, women and abandoned elders wait.
Volunteers note who is unwell, who is new to the street and who needs shelter, and follow up with medical help or government shelter placement.
During floods and heatwaves the effort scales up to serve entire displaced neighbourhoods.
